Orientation Session – Class of 2026 (Pharm. D. Program)

3^rd January -7^th January 2022

The orientation week for the Pharm. D. class of 2026 was held at SCPS from 3^rd January -7^th January 2022. Orientation week included introductory lecture by Prof. Dr. Tausif Ahmed Rajput (Dean FPAHS), Professional insights by Sheikh Akhtar Abbas (Additional Director, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan), Dr. Salwa Ahsan (Chief of Pharmacy, SIH) and awareness workshops on basic traffic rules and rescue protocols by National highway and Motorway police and Rescue 1122, respectively. Another session on “How to improve learning memory and concentration with psychological and mind power methods” was delivered by Dr. Shazia Shehzadi, In-charge of Speech Pathology and Audiology program in Rehabilitation sciences. The orientation week was majorly focused on introduction of students to the newly developed Integrated Contextual Modular System. The students were trained for the instructional and assessment modalities including LGIS, SGD and PBL to smooth the transitioning process from traditional learning system to outcome-based integrated system.
