NON-VIOLENT COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP

Literary Society (SCPS) in collaboration with Character Building Society (SCPS) organized a workshop on non-violent communication on 7^th April 2022 in an effort to strengthen the emotional quotient of the students and faculty members of Shifa College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad. Speaker of the day, Mr. Arshad Warsi, President of “Sehar”, an organization aimed at developing confident, empathetic and empowered individuals by imparting soft skills education in various universities across Pakistan, elaborately explained the techniques that can be utilized in our everyday life to ensure that the empathy prevails and tolerance is exercised. Speaker was awarded with a token of appreciation by Dr. Rashid Ali Khan. Workshop was concluded by presenting shields to the organizers; Advisor Student Affairs, Dr. Rashid Ali Khan, and Coordinator OSEP, Dr. Aisha Altaf by Dr. Waseem Ullah. Acknowledgment certificates were awarded to the faculty mentors of Literary Society SCPS, Dr. Fawad Basheer and Faculty Mentor of Character-Building Society, Dr. Farhat Shaheen, for their valuable contributions in organizing this event.
