Shifa College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University has offered elective research projects in Molecular Pharmacology during Summer-2019. Under this program, a group 20 students got trained in a professional research environment for 04 weeks where they have received valuable hands-on experience in the field of molecular pharmacology on research laboratory techniques. The students were awarded with the certificates on successful completion of hands-on training to perform DNA extraction, Polymerase Chain Reaction, restriction digestion and gel electrophoresis along with theoretical background of pharmacogenetics. Moreover, the students also participated in projects related to formulation design offered by the Department of Pharmaceutics.
