Department of Health Professions Education arranged a seminar  on Saturday 30^th November 2019, on the topic “Role of Faculty in Joint Commission International Accreditation”. Mr Taimoor Shah  Chief Operating Officer of Shifa International Hospitals was the speaker on the occasion. He briefed the audience about the JCI criteria and the importance of quality care and patient safety. He also communicated how faculty and students can play an important role and work in liaison with the hospital management to achieve the highest levels of patient care. There was a question and answer session as well, followed by closing comments by Dean and Principal Shifa College of Medicine Dr Muhammad Amir.
