A seminar titled “Keeping up with the times?” was organized by DHPE on Saturday 28th September 2019. Dr Abida Shaheen and Dr Fahad Azam were the main speakers. They gave a presentation and informed the audience about the innovative teaching and assessment strategies that had been adopted by the faculty at Shifa College of Medicine in the first three years. It was followed by an activity in which the participants were asked to design some more strategies collectively, which could be incorporated in the curriculum in the future. Later representatives from each group presented their work and discussed them with the audience. Dean SCM Dr Muhammad Amir and Vice Chancellor Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University gave concluding remarks followed by refreshments for the participants.
