“Dr. Qamar Mahmood has received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad. Before that he has completed M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Center of Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE), UET, Taxila. He has also earned a degree of M.Sc. in Computer Science from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad. He has 23.5 years of academic experience. He has worked at Barani Institute of Information Technology (BIIT), PMAS Arid Agriculture University for 11.5 years. He also worked as an Assistant Professor at Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad for 12 years. He also worked in the IT Healthcare industry as Lead Software Engineer (HL7 Interfacing) for 4 years. The areas of his research are Semantic Computing, Ontologies, Cyber Security. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Computing, Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad. He is also a member of the Board of Studies, Focal Person of QEC for Ph.D. Computer Science. He is also a member of admission committees for MS Data Science and PhD computer science. He is also a member of the IT Procurement committee of STMU. ”
