We are proud to have team of dedicated industrial experts to mentor us for achieving excellence in computing. The department is keen to maintain strong links with industry and industrial practice. Our board members are a diverse group of professionals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of Computing. The Industrial Advisory Board regularly advises on: curriculum development and review, emerging technologies, employment, and research collaborations. We honor that the industrial experts are extremely supportive to the Faculty of Computing. They are enthusiastic about the high quality of graduates that we have aim to produce. They appreciate that our students, with their help, have a big advantage over graduates from other universities in terms of their awareness and experience of real projects and business issues as faced in an enterprise organization. They all have a wealth of experience in IT and its emerging fields. We are proud to have such a talented and dedicated group of individuals on our board. Malik Sami Ullah Head of IT Planning and Implementation, CMPak ECCL-PayMax, Islamabad: Mr. Sami is a Head of IT Planning & Implementation – Mobile Financial Services (MFS) since many years. He is a passionate IT Expert and has played an instrumental role in launching MFS Platform for the first time in the history of CMPak ZONG. As a Pilot launch of MFS services and implementing State-of-the-art Financial System integrated with Front end channels, he has a vast experience of technical consultation and advice on technology acquisition, development and deployment of the new mobile financial services (MFS) platform in CMPAK

Dr. Zohaib Iqbal is a renowned software engineering professional and academic. He is the President of Pakistan Software Testing Board and CEO and Founder of Quest Mentor. He has 20 years of experience of working in industry and academia. With expertise in critical systems development, he has worked with prominent national and international organizations, including Schlumberger. Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Pakistan Airforce, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, NESCOM and Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority. He is the former Director of FAST-National University, Islamabad Campus where he remained a Professor in the Computer Science Department.




Dr. Khalid Latif, Vise President R&D, Biome Analytics, San Francisco, CA: Dr. Khalid is an expert in R&D of web and data science field with 17-years of experience. He loves building products that leverage data to solve complex problems and reveal meaningful insight. In his previous roles, he has helped various organizations in the design and development of intelligent information systems such as risk management in customs, fault identification in the construction sites, and knowledge exchange platform. Khalid Latif is the VP of R&D at Biome Analytics. Khalid has over 17 years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence and has worked with some of the leading companies and institutions in the world. Khalid has won numerous awards and recognition for their work, including PKR 9million funding for Innopedia project, lead National Center of AI project and participated in preparing PC-1, served as head of the steering committee for ABET accreditation, taught Machine Learning and Database Systems courses. Khalid holds a Ph.D. degree in data science from Vienna University of Technology and has written over 50 publications.
