    The above statement truly signifies the importance and beauty of our Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics department where all our efforts are directed towards betterment of not only people’s smiles but also towards their health, confidence, function and social impact.

    Our department aims to spearhead the path of esthetic oriented clinical excellence built on a strong foundation of evidence-based orthodontics.

    1. Currently a member of the Editorial Review Board of American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (Growth and Development section)
    2. Currently reviewer for: The Angle Orthodontist, (British) Journal of Orthodontics, European Journal of Orthodontics, Saudi Dental Journal and International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry.
    3. Examiner to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for MFDS and MOrth
    4. Regional (International) Dental Adviser for Pakistan by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

    Future plans [INSHALLAH]:

    1. Enhance student’s academic excellence to reach global standards in the field of Orthodontics
    2. Intensify the clinical expertise for provision of a state of the art orthodontic care in the country.
    3. Intellectual stimulation of undergraduate and postgraduate students with a life-long learning mindset
    4. To deliver high quality Orthodontic care and education in a private setting
    5. Promote and contribute in the realm of Orthodontic research thereby emphasizing on evidence-based practice.
    6. To establish MDS and FCPS postgraduate programs in Orthodontics.
    7. To start PhD program in Orthodontics
    8. To start Diploma or/and Masters in Lingual Orthodontics.
