Instructions for SCMT (BSMT/ASMT/DMT) Online Entrance Test to be held on December 02, 2020
- The date for the online entry exam is Wednesday 2nd December 2020.
- The times for the online entry exams are as follows:
- BSMT: 11:00 am to 01:00 pm
- ASMT/DMT: 01:30 pm to 03:30 pm
- Candidates are advised to take the Mock/Practice Test to make themselves familiar with the LMS. Use your Login ID and Password to log into LMS for this purpose.
- Mock Test shall be active on LMS from: 27th November 2020, 2 PM.
- Login and Passwords for attempting Mock Test and Entrance test are mentioned on the admit Card.
- Make sure you have an appropriate setup for appearing in the examination i.e., a
personal computer, reliable internet connection, a backup internet connection, power
backup in case of power failure, dedicated and peaceful place etc. - Preferably, laptops instead of desktop computers and wireless internet instead of wired internet devices should be used so connectivity is not compromised in case of power failure.
- Shut down all Instant Messaging tools (Skype, Whatsapp etc), screen capturing tools,
other browser windows and email clients which may be a reason for conflict with the
LMS. - Login to your respective LMS account at least 20-30 minutes prior to the starting time
of the exam. This will provide you with a cushion to re-read the instructions, identify and eliminate any connectivity/power issue (if any) well before the start time. - Click on the course name to open the page of the course for which you are attempting
the exam. Read the instructions and click the exam link. - You cannot attempt the exam before or after the specified time window shown on the page and mentioned in the Admit Card.
- Login to the LMS account at least 20-30 minutes prior to the starting time of the exam.

- You cannot attempt the exam before or after the specified time window shown and mentioned in Admit Card.
- Refresh the page at the starting time of the exam and “Attempt Admission Test” button will start appearing on the screen. Click the button to start the attempt. It is your responsibility to adjust your clocks according to PST and immediately refresh the page at the start time to prevent any time loss.
- Test shall consist of 100 Multiple choice questions (MCQs), shuffled for each candidate/student.
- Each MCQ carries 01 Mark. There is NO negative marking.
- Each multiple-choice question will be followed by four distractors/options, shuffled for each candidate/student.
- Read the stem very carefully and select/click the best/appropriate option/distractor. You WILL NOT be able to go back and re-attempt the question in case you change your mind.
- Please attempt all the questions. You cannot/should NOT SKIP a question, as the system will mark it un-attempted.
- Keep track of the time through the timer provided on the right side of the screen in the test portal
- After attempting the last question, click “Finish Attempt” button and on the next page click “Submit all and finish”.
- Candidates who fail to appear in the exam on specified timing (as per Admit Card) will generally NOT be entertained.
- Student(s) who login/appear late on the LMS shall NOT be given any extra time, and the portal shall close on specified time.
- If you do not keep pace with the provided time, the attempted and left-over questions will be submitted automatically at the end of exam time and you will not get any marks for the left-over questions.
