Students of year 4 class 2020 attending the clerkship of community and family medicine visited rural health center (RHC) Terali on Wednesday, 19th June 2019.They were guided and accompanied by Dr Umme kulsoom khattak and Dr Fozia Tahir. Purpose of this academic visit was to demonstrate to the students about infrastructure of RHC and their working setup to provide primary health care services to the patients of the area covered by them. Students were familiarized with the facilities like EPI program of vaccination, Polio eradication campaign, Maternal and child health care facilities ,DOTS program for tuberculosis with routine pharmacy and laboratory services. Students were also briefed with diagrammatic illustrations of number of outdoor patients, referrals, vaccination and prevalence of common diseases based on last year data
