The main aim was to practise empathy, assess nutritional status of school children and develop a sense of community service in medical students.
The staff there was very accommodating, polite and helped the medical students to reach out to each and every individual.Face painting was done for almost all school children  which made them very happy. A weighing machine and measuring tape was used to calculate BMI and to assess the growth and nutritional status of the special children.

Students distributed snacks, fruits and milk packs among children. and also demonstrated hand washing technique. Few gave donations to the foundation and one student also distributed multivitamins supplements to every school student. At the end , medical students were served refreshments and a highly informative session was given by  Mrs. Naema Bushra Malik  ex director Special Education, who has dedicated her life in helping people with special needs
