On Thursday May 2nd 2019, students of the Community and Family Medicine clerkship Class of 2020 visited the Special Children’s school. Dr. Sajida Naseem, Associate Professor, accompanied these 26 Medical students, who interacted with the special persons in the environment of their school. They engaged them in different activities including face painting, drawing and coloring. All students were de-wormed through single dose of medicine, under the supervision of three faculty members of Community Medicine Department: Dr Saima Rafi, Dr Fouzia Tahir and Dr Tahira Jaffar. The students then distributed snacks to the children which included Olpers milk and Milo along with chocolates. At the end, Medical students were served refreshments. Both the medical students and children with special needs thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
