Second Annual Research Day was organized by North West School of Medicine, Peshawar on April 30th 2019. Two abstracts of undergraduate students were selected for poster presentation in this competition. Six students went to Peshawar along with faculty of Community Medicine which included Dr Saima Rafi and Dr Fouzia Tahir. The title of these posters was: “Is drinking water supplied in schools of Islamabad fit for human consumption?” and “Knowledge and practices among vaccinators regarding administration of expanded program on immunization vaccines in Islamabad”. Dr Fouzia Tahir was awarded shield for being judge in the poster competition. Students were awarded certificates of participation. Furthermore, students got the opportunity to attend an informative 3MP (3 minutes oral presentation) with specific format.
