A collaborative effort for tree plantation by Year 4 clerkship students of Community and Family Medicine and Year 1 students along with children with special needs from CFSPF (Care For Special Persons Fooundation) was organized by department of Community Medicine under the supervision of Prof Dr Zahid Naeem, Dr Sajida Naseem and their team. Dean SCM Prof Dr Mohammad Amir, faculty members and staff participated in this drive. Around 200 plants were purchased from CDA nursery as per recommendation of Director Environment. Faculty members and students enthusiastically contributed money and planted trees in the Sylvain and Kachnar Park IN i-8 Sector. In wake of ecofriendly activity proper garbage collection was also ensured afterwards.
