WORLD POPULATION DAY 2021 was observed at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University on July 30, 2021, by the Rawalpindi / Islamabad Chapter of the Society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Pakistan (SOGP). The event was organized by the faculty of the OB/GYN Department of Shifa College of Medicine (SCM). The event covered two sessions; the first session was a hands-on workshop on Contraception with twenty-one participants from different hospitals of Rawalpindi / Islamabad and the occasion was graced by Prof.Dr Iqbal Khan, VC, STMU.

The second session was a webinar to celebrating World Population Day to limit population growth with both limited, face to face and virtual participation on ZOOM. The webinar included a panel discussion by worthy panellists and there was an innovative role play by talented medical students of SCM. The webinar was also addressed by Prof.Dr. Mohammad Amir, Principal SCM and Dean of faculty of health sciences (FHS) STMU.
