The Department of Health Professions Education (DHPE) of Shifa College of Medicine (SCM) organized a hybrid workshop titled “Measuring Your Impact: Understanding HEC Journal Recognition System (HJRS), “W, X, Y” categories, Impact Factor, Citation Analysis and other Metrics” on Friday, August 6, 2021, for the faculty of SCM. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Fahad Azam, Associate Professor of Pharmacology.

The workshop discussed common issues related to computing commonly used citation metrics and different components of the HEC Journal Recognition System “HJRS”.  It was a hybrid workshop where some of the faculty attended in person and the rest attended the workshop online, observing Covid SOPs.
