Orientation day and white coat ceremony to welcome the Class of 2024 was held on Sunday. December 29, 2019 at Shifa International Hospital Auditorium. The ceremony started with recitation of Holy Quran followed by the national anthem of Pakistan. Students were provided with white coats at the start of the event. They took oath from Dr. Amir Nazir, to uphold he values of professionalism and integrity throughout their academic career. The students briefly introduced themselves and presented their signed oaths to the Principal SCM.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Mohammad lqbal, Vice Chancellor of the Shift Tameer-e-Millat University addressed the students and their parents about the journey of the university and the medical college.

Professor Dr. Mohammad Amir. Principal of the Shifa College of Medicine also addressed the students, their parents and the faculty and congratulated the students on being a part of the Shifa family. Towards the end of the ceremony, the Chancellor of the university Dr. Manzoor Qazi highlighted the importance of professionalism and ethics in the medical profession to the new class.
