PROFILE SUMMARY
Nadia Younas received her graduate and postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Quaid e Azam University, Islamabad. She is working as a senior lecturer and program coordinator and exam coordinator in Department of Clinical Psychology, Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad. She also worked as senior clinical psychologist at Ministry of Narcotics Control, AntiNarcotics Force, Islamabad. She was also the Head of Department of Clinical Psychology at Women Medical College – Women Institute of Learning, Abbottabad. She is Highly Skilled Clinical Psychologist possesses excellent experience of more than a decade with leading organizations as a researcher and therapist. She is proficient in psychological counselling, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is an effective motivator, communicator and advocate with inherent ability to manage many types of personalities, diffuse stressful situations, proactively resolve issues and achieve challenging goals. She is proficient in providing therapy to autistic and special needs children as well as one to one therapeutic session, she also possessed strong research abilities; published research are on “The Relationship between Goals of Misbehavior and Perceived Parental Treatment Among Children with behavioral Problems, To Assess Student’s Motivation for Higher Education at University Level” published in International Annals of Medicine. The areas of interests are Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social psychology and Educational Psychology.
