PROFILE SUMMARY

Dr. Neelam Ehsan is an Associate Professor in the department of Clinical Psychology Shifa Tameer-e- Millat. Before this assignment, she served as Assistant Professor in Psychology Department of International Islamic University, Islamabad from July 2017 to June 2022. She has done her M.Sc. Psychology with distinction from Peshawar University and Ph.D. on “Psychological Impact of Terrorism on Internally Displaced Women” from Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar. Her Teaching career started in 2007 as Head Mistress at PAF Base Minhas Montessori, Kamra Cantt. While teaching in Psychology started from 2010 as a contract lecturer in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar and later was made permanent faculty member in the same university in 2013. She completed her Ph.D. in April 2016 and immediately after that, was appointed as the Head of Psychology Department SBBWU, Peshawar. She has completed and is supervising numerous M Phil, MS and Ph.D. Scholars for their theses in the field of Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Psychological testing and Islamic Perspectives in Psychology.
