Shaharyar Mughal, General Secretary for STMU VFHAT Local Council, and National president VFHAT Syed Mehmood Abbas were Awarded the Volunteers Recognition Award by Chief Guest, The Governor Punjab.

The Infection Prevention and Control Foundation (IPAC) and Volunteer Force Against Hepatitis Transmission (VFHAT) organised the Annual Volunteer Congress 2022 in Lahore on October 4th & 5th, 2022. The congress was hosted by Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, and Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore.

A delegation of 19 Shifa College of Medicine students attended this two-day event. The delegation was led by the General Secretary of SCM Local Council of VFHAT, Shaharyar Mughal, and the National President of VFHAT, Syed Muhammad Mehmood Abbas.

Shifa College of Medicine students participated in a Public Health Quiz and attended various workshops, viz., Healthcare Leadership, Value of Diagnostics, Infection Prevention, and Hepatitis B & C Screening, by national and international speakers.

It is an honour of Shifa College of Medicine that Shaharyar Mughal and  Syed Mehmood Abbas were Awarded the Volunteers Recognition Award by the Chief Guest, The Governor of Punjab.
