An educational visit to Pakistan Planning and Management Institute (PPMI) was conducted for Year 4 students attending the clerkship of Community and Family Medicine on 3 rd May 2018. Students were supervised by five faculty members; Dr.Zahid Naeem, Dr.Sajida Naseem, Dr Umme Kulsoom Khattak, Dr. Tehmina Masood and Dr.Saba Savul. The purpose of the visit was to attend the launching ceremony of Technical Support Unit for Civil registration and Vital statistics being introduced in all provinces of Pakistan. It was chaired by Prof. Ahsan Iqbal Federal Minister for interior planning, development and reforms. The aim was to integrate the concept of demography with its practical application.
