A Distinguished Delegation from Queen’s University Belfast Visited Shifa College of Medicine

A distinguished delegation from Queen’s University Belfast, including the Dean of Internationalization Prof. David Grieve visited Shifa College of Medicine on October 25, 2023. The purpose of this visit was to explore potential areas of collaboration and the pooling of expertise and resources for meaningful research initiatives.

Representing Shifa College of Medicine during this visit were faculty members including Professor Mohammed Amir, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Professor Rifat Shafi, Head of the Department of HPE; Professor Fahad Azam, Associate Advisor for Student Affairs; Professor Abida Ashaheen, Head of the Examinations Department and Professor Saima Perwaiz Iqbal, Chairperson of the Electives Committee. During their visit, the delegation engaged with final-year medical students, providing them with valuable insights and information regarding potential areas of interest and collaboration.
