The 10th Annual Public Health Conference was held on 2nd December 2019 at Health Services Academy near NIH, Chak Shahzad Islamabad. The visit was supervised by the Head of the Department of Community Health Sciences Prof. Dr Zahid Naeem and Associate Professor Dr. Sajida Naseem along with Dr Saima Rafi, Dr Fozia Tahir and Dr Mansoor Ahmed Qazi. The event started with the inaugural session chaired by the respected Health Minister of Pakistan, Dr Zafar Mirza The theme of the conference was “Tackling Inequities in Health”. The purpose of participation in this conference was to provide public health exposure to students of Year 4 clerkship ComHS and Year 3 students. The students were familiarized with the most recent research and literary work of health care professionals and allied disciplines coming from all over Pakistan and abroad.  Evidence was presented through different scientific sessions regarding best practices for reducing inequities in health with local solutions to achieve health for all. Our students got introduced with the vision, strategies and roadmap for incorporation of coherent Government policies to eliminate health inequities in Pakistan. Students appreciated the presentations by both the international and national speakers
