On Wednesday December 04 2019, students of the Community Health Sciences clerkship class of 2021 in wake of International Day of Differently Able Persons 2019 visited the “Care For Special Persons Foundation”, a private school run by an NGO. HOD ComHS, Prof. Dr Zahid Naeem and Associate Professor Dr Sajida Naeem along with Dr Saima Rafi and Dr Mansoor Ahmed Qazi accompanied 24 medical students, who interacted with the special persons in a special manner in the environment of their school. They engaged them in different entertaining activities including face painting, drawing and coloring, nail painting, board games, playdough and music. Our students distributed snacks to the children which included Olpers milk and Milo. Students also magnanimously donated Rs.15000 as a kind gesture. Medical students were served refreshments afterwards by the school administration. Children with special needs thoroughly enjoyed the medical students visit, everyone said goodbye with on smile on their delightful faces.
