In order to promote affective learning in the context of chronic kidney diseases, Year 2 medical students had a two days’ visit to Dialysis Unit in SIH on 2^nd and 3^rd of March, 2020. This was organized by the Department of Community Medicine in collaboration with KUB module director Prof. Dr. Riffat Shafi, HOD of Physiology at Shifa college of Medicine.  The visit was supervised by Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Qazi and Dr. Yusuf. Students were divided into two groups comprising of 50 students per day.

During the visit students were briefed by Medical officer regarding the working of the Dialysis unit along with all the processes involved.  Students interacted with the patients in order to know about current status of kidney problems and also enquired about the past medical history. Medical students appreciated the knowledge they received at the Dialysis Unit.
