Students of Year 4 attending the clerkship of Community and Family Medicine assisted the children with disability belonging to the private Institution  "Care for special persons Foundation" In tree plantation in the Sylvan Park opposite Shifa College of Medicine. This was a joint venture of CDA and Shifa College of Medicine, STMU. This initiative was led by Assistant Director, CDA Ms Javeria Maqbool and Dr Sajida Naseem, Assistant Professor CFM. Students and faculty contributed money in plantation of fruit trees and Amaltas plants. Overall 100 trees were planted through the children with special needs. Deen SCM Prof Dr Mohammad Amir, faculty members and staff participated in this drive. Medical students entertained the children with refeshments and by playing games.
