The inaugural Seerah Chair program was held on March 17th, 2023, at PRC-STMU. The program aimed to establish the Seerah Chair at the Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University to promote research and education in the field of Seerat along with the dialogue and mutual understanding among people of different cultures and backgrounds. The event featured speeches by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Khan , Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Dr. Alam Khan Head Seerah Chair & Islamic Studies, Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz Chairman Council of Islamic ideology, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Paçaci Amabasadaor of Türkiye to Pakistan, Chief guest Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Head Sharia and Law and other dignitaries. Over 400 participants, including faculty members, students, and representatives from different universities and organizations, attended the event.
