Shifa College of Medicine Stands in Solidarity with Palestine

On Monday, 26th February 2024, the Shifaites Serving Humanity group held a Palestine Solidarity Protest at the Shifa College of Medicine. The event was marked by an impressive turnout from all disciplines within Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), reflecting a united front supporting this vital cause. The protest featured enlightening speeches addressing the ongoing crisis in Palestine, a fundraiser to aid those affected, and a march echoing the call for Palestinian freedom. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the faculty and students who dedicated their time to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, amplifying calls for a ceasefire across the globe. At Shifa, we advocate for humanity, recognising that every voice contributes to the collective demand for change. We remain hopeful that we can unite in compassion, transcending borders and beliefs. Our thoughts are with the Palestinian people as we stride towards a brighter, more peaceful future. Silence in the face of injustice is complicity, and we will not be silent.
