As per the tradition of Shifa College of Medicine, an educational development seminar was held on the last Saturday of the month on 28th April 2018. The title of the seminar was “Faculty Development Initiatives at SCM: Where do we stand?”.

It was conducted by Dr Saeed Shafi and facilitated by the Department of Health Professions Education. Dr Saeed gave a presentation in the beginning about the faculty development activities taking place in SCM, with particular focus on the educational seminars held in the last one year. Later the participants who were divided in six groups were given a questionnaire to fill, followed by focus group discussion. The findings of each group were presented on Kirkpatrick’s model of evaluation. Dr Saeed concluded the session by reciting duas from the Holy Quran.
