A tree plantation ceremony and activity was held at the SCM campus, STMU on Monday, August 23, 2021, in line with the National drive for Clean and Green Pakistan. Mr. Muhammad Shahzad Arbab,Advisor to the Prime Minister on Establishment was the chief guest. Another esteemed guest was Mr. Awaid Irshad Bhatti, Assistant Commissioner Sub Divisional Magistrate, ICT, Islamabad.  to this Tree Plantation Activity.

 Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Dean Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Mohammed Amir, Dean Basic Health Sciences/ HOD Physiology & HPE / Head Horticulture Committee Prof. Dr. Riffat Shafi and faculty received the guests. Dr. Sajida Naseem Associate Professor of Community Medicine was the organizer and host of the tree plantation ceremony. Both the guests emphasized the need for tree plantation and appreciated the efforts of Medical Professionals of SCM in supporting this environment-friendly activity. Different types of saplings were planted which included fruit, floral and other trees that provide shade. These were planted in and around the SCM campus. Faculty, staff and students participated in this activity.
