PROFILE SUMMARY

With a background in Clinical Child Psychology spanning several years, she possesses significant expertise in diagnosing and treating children with disabilities, including learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and conduct disorders. Ms. Arooj’s strong research acumen led her to pursue a post-graduate dissertation at Foundation University, where she explored the concerns of parents and therapists surrounding puberty in teenagers with ASD. Ms. Arooj’s research findings were presented at international conferences. Alongside with her research, Ms. Arooj has also provided significant support to multiple special education departments in schools, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and assisting in the assessment of learning and developmental disabilities. Ms. Arooj’s has also worked with various centers to create Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), while conducting interactive seminars for parents of children with conduct disorder, ASD, ADHD, and SLD. Currently, She hold the position of a Senior Clinical Child Psychologist and lecturer at STMU, where Ms. Aroojsupervise and coordinate the clinical internship of BS, MS, and PMDCP students. In addition to the clinical duties, Ms. Arooj is also involved in administrative tasks such as the development of official forms for the clinic.
