DHPE organised a talk on “Integration of Social Sciences in Health Professions Education” by Dr Ijaz Shafi Gilani. Dr Gilani is chairman Gallup Pakistan which specializes in opinion and social science research. He is also Global Vice President of WIN-GIA and heads its world-wide Group of Experts on Opinion and Social Research. Dr Gilani emphasized on the branches of humanities/social sciences and their significance and how they can be made a part of our medical curriculum. At the end of the lecture there as a question answer session with the audience.
