A faculty development seminar titled “Instructional scaffolding to improve critical thinking and clinical reasoning of medical students: Team-based learning (TBL) in an online synchronous set-up” was organized by the Department of Health Professions Education (DHPE) on Saturday, 25^th June 2022, at Shifa College of Medicine Campus.

The seminar aimed to provide the faculty guidelines on designing, developing, and conducting Team-Based Learning sessions for in-person and online teaching. The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr Abida Shaheen (Head of Pharmacology department), Dr Fahad Azam (Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology), Dr Tatheer Zehra (Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy) and Dr Shazia Irum (Assistant Professor, Department of Health Professions Education).

The worthy Vice Chancellor of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Prof. Dr Mohammad Iqbal, the Dean Prof. Dr Mohammad Amir and the entire faculty attended this event. The event was well received and appreciated by everyone.
