Department of Health Profession Education Held a Workshop on “Small Group Discussion”

A workshop was conducted by Department of Health Profession Education on Thursday, 31st August, 2023, from 9:00-10:30am in basement conference room, Shifa College of Medicine. The workshop was on Small Group Discussion for newly inducted instructors as part of faculty development program. The session was facilitated by Dr Hareem Fatima and Dr Mahrukh Durrani along with Dr Shazia Irum and Dr Muneeza Aamir Sami. Instructors from basic sciences participated actively in the session. It was an orientation session where the participants were briefed regarding various teaching strategies practiced at SCM particularly SGDs and PBL followed by a role play by the instructors.
