An educational visit to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) was conducted for Year 4 students attending the clerkship of Community and Family Medicine on 13^th April 2018. Students were supervised by three faculty members; Dr. Zahid Naeem, Dr. Tehmina Masood and Dr. Saba Savul.  Talks were given by prominent staff from PBS including Chief Statistician Dr. Sajjad Akhtar and PBS Director Mr. Rizwan Bashir.  Presentations included Working Structure and Activities of PBS, 2017 Census Results of Pakistan, National Health Accounts, Contraceptive Prevalence in Pakistan and Global Adult Tobacco Survey. Student were given a tour of various relevant sections of PBS such as the Data Processing Centre, Demographic and Research section, Population Welfare Statistics Section and Field Services Section.
