PROFILE SUMMARY

Wardah Ishfaq (PhD Scholar) pursued Applied Psychology at the graduate level, Clinical Psychology at post graduate level and currently she is doing PhD in Clinical Psychology at International Islamic University, Islamabad. She currently holds the position of lecturer and Clinical Psychologist at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University in Islamabad. She is an exceptionally qualified Clinical Psychologist who has worked for prestigious institutions both as a researcher and a therapist. She has extensive experience in the fields of psychological counseling, Islamic Psychotherapy, and CBT. She has a wealth of experience with women and is particularly well-versed in coping with vicarious trauma, given her extensive research work on Women and Reproductive Mental Health. She has a natural talent for dealing with people from diverse backgrounds, dealing with emotionally charged circumstances, solving problems head-on, and accomplishing difficult tasks with ease and collectiveness. Areas of expertise encompass Clinical Psychology, Islamic Psychology, Child Psychology, Health Psychology, and Educational Psychology, as well as proficient basis in research work including interventional studies, quantitative and qualitative studies, Clinical supervision, research supervision, and skill development.
