On March 17, 2018 Department of Orthopaedics Shifa college of medicine ,Shifa International Hospitals Conducted First Session of a Two Day workshop devised for Fourth year students SCM on Principals Of Fractures that included Lectures on Different type of fractures and their management, Classification of fractures, Different type of Open fractures and Videos and Practicals on Non operative treatment of fractures. There were 26 participants.

Sessions were conducted and facilitated by Orthopaedics department Faculty that include Professor Maj Gen Sohail Hafeez, Dr Amir Nabi Noor, Dr Sajjad Orakzai, Dr Fahim Khan ,Dr Sumair Qureshi and Dr Ali.

Students enjoyed the practical sessions the most that involved plaster techniques and various form of tractions used in fracture treatment.
