Health care professionals from one of the following specializations having atleast 16 years of education (NQF Level 6) are eligible for consideration. All foreign qualifications must be supported by transcripts and degrees attested / equivalence by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).

- 50% score in FSc with Pre Medical subjects

- 02 Years Clinical Experience
- Valid Registration with PNC.
- Passing Entry test & Interview
OR
- 04 Years Generic BSN Degree Program
- 02 Years Clinical Experience excluding 01 year internship

Any one of the following qualifications is necessary for an application to be eligible for consideration. All foreign qualifications must be supported by an Equivalence Certificate issued by the IBCC.

- 60 percent overall and unadjusted score in pre-medical group of Intermediate Certification in Pakistan. However, much higher scores proves competitive. BSc group or equivalent are also eligible to apply.
- British Advanced Level (A-Level) Certification with Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics. The achievements should be over 60% (pre-medical) in IBCC Equivalence Certificate.
- US Grade-12 Diploma (minimum GPA 3.0) accompanied by an Equivalence Certificate from the IBCC of at least 60 % F.Sc pre-medical qualification (that will require inclusion of Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics and English in the final 3 years). Higher Secondary School Certificate from other countries with Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics accompanied by an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC* of at least 60% F.SC Pre-medical qualification.
* The Equivalence Certificate will be obtained from a government office of the Ministry of Education called The Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC). This office attempts to translate foreign qualifications into Pakistani equivalents. It has its own requirements to be met and it can take time. The University has no connections with that office and is, therefore, unable to provide any information or assistance in that connection. It is the applicants’ responsibility to obtain the Equivalence Certificate before an offer of admission could be formalized.

10% of the total seats have been reserved for foreign students. The main aim is to encourage and facilitate Pakistani expatriates and foreigners to establish linkages to Pakistan. Moreover, we aim to provide state-of-the-art education facilities to the students from the developing countries at affordable rates. This would help in establishing STMU as an international seat of quality learning and research. The candidates who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply on the foreign seats;

- Foreign national/ dual national/ overseas (being a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign country) Pakistani student, and who has studied and passed HSSC 12th grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and is a resident of a foreign country at the time of applying for admission and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect having completed last two years of schooling from abroad. OR
- Pakistani student who have completed their previous educational certificate/ degree/ achievement from Pakistan or abroad while being affiliated with a foreign educational system (GCSE/ Cambridge etc.)
- Pakistani students having passed from foreign education system (i.e. O levels, A levels etc.)
- Minimum sixty percent (60%) marks in aggregate, in an examination of a course from a foreign university or its examining body or its education system in at least three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics and such course must have been duly certified by IBCC* as equivalent to HSSC, F.Sc. or Intermediate level of Pakistan.

The entry test shall be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) containing 100 MCQs of 1 mark each (Total 100 Marks). There shall be NO negative marking. Total time allowed for the test shall be 120 minutes (2 hours). The distribution of questions in various sections shall be as follows;

- B.Pharm, Pharm.D., MBBS, BDS, DPT, DVM or equivalent with first division in the annual system/ CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0/ CGPA of 3.75 out of 5.0 in the semester system duly recognized by the concerned regulatory authority.
- M.Phil./FCPS or equivalent degree in relevant discipline with first division in the annual system/ CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0/ CGPA of 3.75 out of 5.0 in the semester system.
- Valid GAT (subject) Result with the minimum 60% of cumulative score. (GAT is valid for a period of two years).

STMU entry test result with a minimum 70% of cumulative score.
- STMU Interview.
Final selection shall be based on cumulative score in academic qualifications (20%), admission test (40%), interview (20%) and research proposal (20%).

The candidates are expected to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria for being considered for admission in the MS Clinical Psychology programme:
- At least 2.5/4.0 CGPA or 60% marks in a 4 or 5 years degree program (NQF Level 6) in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Applied psychology or Sociology.
- Clear the STMU admission test / GAT / GRE test with at least 50% marks.
- Appear before and pass the interview conducted by the DCP admission committee.
- Submit a personal statement to be reviewed by the potential supervisor(s).
