PROFILE SUMMARY

Ms. Mishal Fatima has done her Postgraduate in Clinical Psychology from the Government College University, Lahore and BS (Hons) in Psychological Sciences from King Edward Medical University, Lahore. She has served as faculty in Bahaudin Zakariya University in Dera Ghazi Khan Campus. Her responsibilities included provision of professional knowledge to students enrolled in distance learning program and provided administration assistance. She had teaching experience with University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. She served as visiting faculty in University of Wah. She follows Behavior Therapy (BT) to deal with mental health issues of children. In her clinical practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is endorsed to deal with a wide range of mental health problems including anxiety disorder, depression, schizophrenia, learning difficulties and relationship issues. She is providing her clinical services to individuals with mental health issues. She has published 5 articles in HEC recognized journals. Research endeavors are Neuro developmental disorders specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder, Somatic Related Issues. Her research endeavors are eating disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, bereavement, grief, emotional eating, parental neglect, childhood trauma, delinquency, internet gaming, addiction, screen time effects, language issues among children etc.
