14th Annual Shifa Scholars Day 2025
Shifa College of Medicine was alive with youthful optimism as it hosted its much-anticipated undergraduate Research competition, the 14th Annual Shifa Scholars Day on May 6, 2025. The event was graced by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Khan, as Chief Guest, along with Prof. Dr. Mohammed Amir, Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences.
The Department of Community Medicine and Public Health successfully organized and managed the Scholars Day, a grand event marked by high level of professionalism, teamwork, and dedication. The Students’ Society of SCM, READ (Research, Education, Assistance, Development) under the guidance of the department of Community Medicine and Public Health, delivered an outstanding performance. They were instrumental in providing a space that cultivated critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among the medical and dental students. The day was marked by the enthusiasm of bright, inquisitive minds from all over Pakistan coming together on a single platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and showcase their research endeavors.
The presence of 150 medical and dental students, and observers from 29 Medical and Dental colleges across Pakistan elevated the vibrancy and intellectual diversity of the event. Their active engagement added a unique sense collaborative; underscoring Shifa Tameer –e- Millat University ‘s commitment to nurturing a research-driven culture
From 55 dynamic poster presentations to 44 thought-provoking oral sessions, the event served as a testament to the intellectual curiosity and academic potential of the next generation of physicians and clinicians. We are particularly proud of winners of year 2025:
