The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences conducted an orientation session for the intake of the PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences.
Dean FPAHS Prof. Dr. Tousif A. Rajput emphasized that a PhD represents a commitment to generating knowledge, upholding research integrity, and striving for publishable, impactful work. He highlighted the responsibility of the first cohort in setting academic standards and encouraged scholars to embrace intellectual depth, critical inquiry, and resilience in the face of challenges.
The session was also graced by Campus Director Dr. Ahsan Hameed and ORIC Director Prof. Dr. Sagheer Ahmed, who shared guidance on research funding and scholarship opportunities.
Head of Department Prof. Brig (R) Dr. Aamir Waheed Butt and senior faculty reflected on the department’s values and the evolving landscape of rehabilitation research.
