Admission Process – SCMT

Applicants aspiring to gain admission to SCMT at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University must register online by following the step-by-step guide below.

1. Register on the admissions portal

Head to the university website (www.stmu.edu.pk) or the university’s online admissions portal. Register by providing general information and selecting the appropriate program from the list. Once registered, fill in the required academic details along with scanned copies of your photograph, academic documents, and any entry test result from the current admission session, if applicable.

2. Pay the application fee

Complete all steps and print the application fee voucher. Submit the voucher at any branch of the designated bank (named on the voucher) anywhere in Pakistan.

3. Fee verification and entry test card

Wait until the application fee voucher is verified by the university’s accounts and IT departments. Once verified, your entry test card is generated on the online admissions portal and a confirmation email is sent to your registered address. Print the entry test card to present to the invigilation staff on the test day.

4. Appear for the entry test

Appear for the entry test on the day and at the centre prescribed on the entry test card, and await the result announcement. Visit the university website for the test result, followed by the merit list. If you are selected on merit, a confirmation email will also be sent to your registered address.

5. Interview and provisional admission

The email in Step 4 contains all instructions regarding your documentary and interview requirements. Provisional admission is offered after successfully clearing the interview.

Entrance Exam

• Shifa College of Medical Technology (SCMT) will conduct the entry test on the informed date and at the informed venue.
• All eligible candidates must appear for the entry test.
• The entry test is valid only for admission in the current session.
• The entry test card is generated for eligible candidates a few days prior to the test.

Subjects of the Entrance Exam

• The interview is conducted for candidates shortlisted after the entry test.
• Members of the Admission Committee conduct the interview on the informed date and time.
• A candidate’s final selection relies heavily on the interview.

• The Admission Committee of Shifa College of Medical Technology finalizes the merit list.
• This merit list is liable to change due to correction of errors and may be re-displayed afterward.
