Publication and Media Cell

Introduction

The Publication and Media Cell (PMC) of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University is responsible for managing all publication and media-related activities on behalf of the university. It keeps watch of the co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities of the university and maintains cordial relations with the print and electronic media. The media cell publishes a NewsLetter and Annual Report annually, which is sent to different universities and relevant organization.

Objectives

To ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information about university events, achievements, and initiatives.

  • To enhance the university’s visibility and reputation through effective media channels.
  • To maintain consistency and professionalism in all university publications and media interactions.
  • To facilitate internal communication among university departments/colleges.

Functions of the Publication and Media Cell:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for various publication mediums, including social media, newsletters, newspapers, magazines, brochures, and websites.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to promote positive coverage of university activities and events.
  • Social Media Management: Manage official university social media accounts to engage with the community, share updates, and respond to inquiries.
  • Graphic Design and Layout: Design visually appealing layouts for publications and marketing materials, adhering to university branding guidelines.
  • Event Coverage: Coordinate coverage of university events through photography, videography, and live updates on social media platforms.
