As part of the community medicine curriculum, MBBS students, year 4 visited Rural Health Center (RHC) Tarlai on Wednesday, 18^th December, 2019 under supervision of Dr Umme Kulsoom Khattak. The purpose of the visit was to see the working of the primary health care in government setup. Expanded program of immunization, laboratory services, lady health workers services, fumigation room, male & female out patient’s clinic, obstetric clinic, essential drugs pharmacy and TB DOTS program were the areas explored by the students. An overview of the difference in working of private and public sectors was discussed with the students.
