Shifa College of Medicine: A Host for WFME’s Accreditation PM&DC Visit

Shifa College of Medicine, Islamabad, proudly hosted the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) teams on the 27th and 28th of November 2023. This momentous occasion marked a crucial step in the accreditation process for Pakistan’s Medical Education and PM&DC.

Under the astute leadership of Prof. Dr Mohammad Amir, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, the visit was orchestrated with precision. Prof. Dr Riffat Shafi, Director of Medical Education, Prof. Dr Ashraf Hussain, Chairperson of Basic Health Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Zafar Rabbani, Chairperson of Clinical Health Sciences, led their respective teams through this comprehensive evaluation.
