Ms. Samina Mushtaq is a dedicated academic and researcher currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computing, Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad. She is also pursuing her PhD in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, with a research focus on medical imaging processing. With over five years of university teaching experience, she has taught a wide range of computing courses, supervised Final Year Projects, and contributed to academic quality processes. Before joining STMU, she served as a Lecturer at SBBWU Peshawar, gaining rich academic and administrative experience. Ms. Samina Mushtaq has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning gold medals in both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and a bronze medal in HSSC. Her research background includes work in medical image processing, computer vision, AI, delay-tolerant networks, and next-generation networking, with publications in IEEE conferences and other reputable venues. Ms. Samina’s professional strengths include excellent teaching and mentoring abilities, a strong foundation in AI and deep learning, and practical experience in system and network administration gained during her tenure at the IT Excellence Center, Government of KPK. She continues to expand her research portfolio in AI-driven medical imaging and intelligent systems.
