PROFILE SUMMARY

Hasnain Mehmood is an emerging AI and data science researcher with a strong interdisciplinary foundation spanning computer vision, machine learning, mathematical modeling, and applied data analytics. Trained as a mathematician during his BS program, he further strengthened his expertise through an MS in Data Science at Air University, where he specialized in deep learning–based computer vision systems for agricultural intelligence. His graduate research involved developing and optimizing ensemble models—integrating MobileNet, ResNet50, SVM and LSTM architectures—for crop identification and disease classification using RGB imagery, achieving high accuracy and robust generalization through evolutionary optimization techniques. Throughout his academic and research journey, he has gained hands-on experience in deep learning frameworks, data engineering, and applied analytics, working on diverse projects including predictive maintenance, sentiment analysis, and multi-modal learning. His work demonstrates his ability to bridge theoretical foundations with real-world data challenges. Hasnain has also contributed to teaching and academic development. He has served as a Research Assistant at Air University and later as a Section Leader at Stanford University, where he facilitated Python programming and CS fundamentals for international cohorts. Currently, he is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (since October 2025), where he teaches computing and mathematics courses.
