Innovation: Pathway to prosperity
Department of Health Professions Education held a seminar titled “Innovation: Pathway to prosperity” on 28th January 2023.Dr Habib ur Rehman, founding director and board chairman of Shifa International Hospital and Shifa Tameer e Millat University spoke about the importance of innovation in research, emphasizing it as the need of the day. He also highlighted the role of faculty in promoting critical thinking among students to encourage a culture of research, creativity and innovation.
Mr Ibrahim Huzaifa, a Shifa graduate from 2022 batch was also invited on the occasion to share his experience. Mr Huzaifa has made a 3 D printer and has created various anatomical models from it which were displayed to the audience. Dr Habib ur Rehman and Dr Muhammad Iqbal, Vice chancellor Shifa Tameer e Millat University appreciated his efforts and concluded that a conducive environment needs to be created for aspiring students like him who come up with ingenious ideas.
