Workshop 2: Teaching Smarter with Peer-Assisted Learning

The workshop “Teaching Smarter with Peer-Assisted Learning” focused on the principles, models, and educational value of peer-assisted learning (PAL) in medical education. The session highlighted evidence-based strategies for integrating PAL into curricula while addressing common challenges related to training, supervision, and sustainability. Emphasis was placed on PAL as a learner-centered approach that promotes shared responsibility for learning and supports both academic and professional growth.
