The Department of Health Profession Education organized a guest lecture on Tuesday, 26th October 2021, from 9:30-11:30 hrs. Professor John Rasko, a haematologist from the University of Sydney, facilitated the guest lecture on Modifying Genes and Cells Therapy for students from different Medical Universities in Pakistan (via Zoom). It was a collaborative venture and students, and faculty members from various Medical Universities in Pakistan participated enthusiastically in it. 

Dr John Rasko shared his research work on gene and stem cell therapy globally with valuable contributions in curing Thalassemia, Hemophilia, Retinitis Pigmentosa and other diseases. A Question & Answer session was held at the end of the session in which ample time was given to all participating medical universities.  In the end, Prof John Rasko showed his gratitude for the active engagement of all the participants.
